We built the onboarding to take less than 90 minutes of your time across two short calls and one form. Here's exactly what we need.
Required (these block the 72-hour delivery)
1. Your business owner name, legal business name, and DBA (if any).
We need both — the human name behind the business and the legal entity. If you operate under a DBA, we need that too. This locks in your NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across every platform we claim.
2. Your IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN).
The 9-digit number from the IRS, formatted XX-XXXXXXX. Used only for A2P 10DLC business texting registration, which is what lets your business line send texts at all (the AI receptionist's texts and any automated texts). Stored securely and not shared with third parties.
Not sure where it is? Check your original IRS EIN letter (Form CP575-G), your LLC operating agreement, or any business tax return.
3. A working phone number to forward calls to.
The cell or office line where calls actually get answered. When the AI receptionist is off, Lockr routes inbound calls from your new business line to this number. You'll hear a quick whisper before the call connects telling you it's a Lockr lead, and at that point you can pick up, or hit a button to hand it off to your AI receptionist if you're busy. When the AI receptionist is on, your AI answers those calls instead. Either way, the lead is captured.
4. A logo file.
Vector format is best (.ai, .svg, .eps). PNG works too. Don't worry about the background — we handle that.
If you don't have a logo yet, we'll make you a simple one as part of the build. Brand-new businesses come to us all the time looking to get everything set up at once. Foundation is built for that — you don't need to show up with a polished brand to start.
5. Your Google Business Profile, set up and verified.
The one thing only you can do. Google requires the actual business owner to verify their identity — we can't do it for you. If you don't have a GBP yet, set one up at business.google.com and complete the verification (usually a postcard to your address) before the access call.
If you already have a verified GBP, on the access call we'll add support@leadlockr.ai as a Manager. Go to business.google.com, click your business, click the three-dot menu, click “Business Profile settings,” click “Managers,” and add it. We'll walk you through it live if you'd rather do it together.
If you've lost access to your GBP, tell us on the audit call. We have a process to recover it.
6. A CRM.
Lockr's intelligence comes from job context — what work you're doing, for which customers, when. The way it gets that context is through a CRM.
Jobber, Housecall Pro, or our lightweight built-in CRM all work. The built-in CRM comes free with every account, so if you don't want to pay $99+/month for Jobber or HCP, you don't have to. The built-in one handles the basics: customers, jobs, scheduling. Enough for Foundation contractors.
Pick one, even if it's ours. Without a CRM, Lockr can still handle inbound leads, but it can't follow up after jobs, send review requests automatically, or surface revenue patterns. The whole platform gets weaker without it.
Helpful but not required
7. Manager access to platforms you already have.
If you already have profiles on Google Business Profile, Facebook, Yelp, Bing, or anywhere else, you don't hand us passwords. We never ask for your logins and we never store them. For the platforms that support it, you add us as a manager from inside your own account, which you control and can remove anytime. For the ones that don't support manager access, we walk you through the setup together on a screen share, with you logged into your own account. If you don't have a profile somewhere yet, we create or claim it with you the same way.
8. Photos of your work.
Before-and-afters, equipment shots, team photos, finished jobs. The more the better, but we can launch without any. Phone photos are fine — we don't need professional photography.
9. A complete list of services you offer and the areas you serve.
Helps us write your service pages and area pages. If you don't have this written down, we'll pull it from your existing site or knock it out on the access call.
10. Brand colors, guarantees, licenses, and any testimonials you want featured.
All captured on the assets form between the audit call and the access call. None of it is required to launch, but the more you include, the more personalized your site looks at go-live.
We walk through all of this on the access call and the assets form. Plan on 30 minutes for the form and 30 minutes on the call.
