Questions,
answered.
What people ask before they sign. If yours isn't here, the audit is the fastest way to a straight answer.
Short answers. Where it matters, the math.
01Who is this for?
Home service contractors across the trades — pressure washing, painting, roofing, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, remodeling, general contracting, tree service, concrete. Metro Detroit first. Solo operators through growth contractors with a small crew. Eventually multi-location.
Foundation tier today is built for solo operators who want their online presence to look as professional as their work.
02What does the audit look like?
Two minutes to fill out the form. Lockr does the research and sends back a written report: listing health, review velocity vs. your competitors, geo coverage gaps, conversion opportunities on your current site.
No sales call required. If it makes sense to talk, we'll set it up. If not, the audit is yours to use.
03What do you need from me to get started?
Your business name, owner name, address, and a phone number to forward calls to. Your IRS EIN for Twilio compliance. Access to your existing Google Business Profile (or we'll help you set one up — only you can verify it with Google). A CRM — Jobber, Housecall Pro, or our built-in lightweight one. Logo if you have one, we'll make you a simple one if you don't.
Onboarding is built to take less than 90 minutes of your time across two short calls and one form.
04What does Foundation include today?
Custom website. Local listings claimed and monitored across major platforms. Dedicated business phone line with an AI CSR answering texts, plus an AI chat widget on your site. Review request system. Referral Engine. LeadLockr dashboard.
Voice CSR is in testing on beta lines. Lead Qualifier, Quote Followup, and SEO/GEO agents ship Q3 2026. Photo Coach, Route Optimizer, and Job Context agents ship Q4 2026.
05What does the 72-hour guarantee include?
Once we have your assets and access confirmed, your site goes live, your listings are claimed, and your business line is forwarding within 72 hours.
Miss that window, the build price is half off. No questions.
06What's the price?
Build fee is now $999 — the first three spots at $499 are filled. It climbs $500 every three spots until it ceilings at $1,999. Monthly recurring is $249/mo, starting Day 91.
The build fee covers your setup and your first 90 days. No free trial — recurring kicks in Day 91. Cancel anytime.
Growth and Scale tier pricing announced at each tier's launch. See Foundation and Roadmap.
07What happens if I'm not happy?
Tell us. We refund your last payment and part ways. No conditions, no negotiation. We'd rather earn it than keep it.
08What if I don't have a website yet?
Most contractors we work with don't have one they like. We build one.
09What if I already have a website?
We don't automatically replace it. If your site converts and looks professional, we leave it alone and audit it instead — making sure the SEO, schema, and conversion signals are dialed in.
If it doesn't convert, we build you a new one. If you love your current site and we can get access to the repo to clean it up, we'll do that instead. Whichever path makes sense, we'll be straight with you about it on the audit call.
10Do I need to be on Jobber or a specific CRM?
Jobber works today via direct integration. Housecall Pro and other major CRMs connect as we ship more connectors.
A CRM is required. Lockr's intelligence comes from job context — what work you're doing, for which customers, when. Without that context, the agents can't do their job. If you're not on a CRM yet, the lightweight LeadLockr CRM is included in every Foundation account at no extra cost.
11What happens if I stop paying?
Your account pauses, no recurring charges going forward. Your site stays live for 30 days while you transition.
After 30 days, your site comes down from our hosting. But the work is yours — we hand over your GitHub repo with a step-by-step doc on how to host it yourself on Vercel. If you'd rather have us handle the hosting transfer, we charge a small fee for that.
Everything else — your listings, your online presence work, your customer data — stays yours and stays live. Management of those just halts when the account pauses.
12When does Foundation tier open publicly?
Q3 2026, after Layer 1 ships and stabilizes for beta clients. Beta seats at the build ladder pricing are open now.
Customers who onboard during beta lock that pricing when public launch hits.
They also lock in a lifetime upgrade discount — every future tier upgrade is $2,000 cheaper than what a brand-new customer pays.
13When does Growth tier launch?
Q3 2027, when Layer 3 and 4 agents ship and stabilize for beta clients.
Foundation customers get the lifetime upgrade discount when they move up — Growth setup fee minus $2,000 off the top.
14What is the lifetime upgrade discount?
When you sign up as a Foundation customer and later upgrade to Growth or Scale, your previous build fee counts as the ceiling of your old tier — not what you actually paid.
That means every Foundation customer gets $2,000 off the upgrade, whether you paid $499 or $1,999 for your original build. Same math applies when Growth customers upgrade to Scale.
Two layers of reward for getting in early: cheaper entry now, cheaper upgrade later.
